Jonathan Barsky, Ph.D. Co-Chairman Dr. Barsky, co-founder and chairman of Market Metrix, is a professor of marketing at University of San Francisco's School of Business and Management and an internationally known consultant and lecturer in the area of customer satisfaction.
Dr. Barsky began researching customer satisfaction nearly 25 years ago, believing that customer satisfaction plays a fundamental role in achieving customer loyalty and profitability. Dr. Barsky is the author of two best selling books, World Class Customer Satisfaction and Finding the Profit in Customer Satisfaction, and has published more than 100 articles on the subject. His current work on customer satisfaction, including his pioneering work on consumer emotions, has won numerous awards and has been incorporated into the curricula of U.S. business schools. Dr. Barsky completed his doctoral work at Michigan State University on satisfaction measurement in the hotel industry.
Lenny Nash, Co-Chairman Lenny co-founded Market Metrix in 1996 and served as CEO from 1997 to 2007. Lenny led the company to profitability in its first year of operations (1997). Since then, the privately held company has built an elite clientele and has sustained revenue growth of more than 30% a year. Lenny has co-authored numerous articles and been a frequent speaker in the area of customer satisfaction. Most recently, Lenny lead the design of Customer Metrix 3.0 and he continues to be involved in product strategy and business development. Prior to Market Metrix, Lenny was a management consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Kurt Salmon Associates and most recently was Director of Customer Satisfaction Consulting at Arthur Andersen in San Francisco. Lenny holds a Bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech.
Robert joined Market Metrix in June 2007 as CEO. Robert has over 15 years experience in growth company management. His experience spans executive roles in public and private companies in ecommerce, internet and financial services. He was previously President and COO of MarketLive, Inc., a venture-backed ecommerce platform provider. He was COO of Barra Inc., a public company sold to Morgan Stanley in 2004. Robert was CEO of Quote.com, sold to Lycos in 2000 and is founder of Equiglobe LLC, a management consulting and investment firm. Robert was also CEO of Buylink, an online specialty retail exchange. At the beginning of his career, Robert was an investment banker at Hambrecht & Quist, now part of Chase. Robert's experience spans all functional areas, including global sales and marketing, product management, operations and corporate finance. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Mathematical and Computational science from Stanford University.
